The Bannerman Castle Trust, Inc. provided a tour of the Bannerman Residence Emergency Stabilization Project site to 37 representatives from various contractors today.  The tour was a mandatory pre-bid conference for our project and brings us one step closer to receiving bids later this month and beginning construction.   Thanks very much to Kurt Hirschberg and Mike Devonshire of Jan Hird Pokorny Associates for attending and fielding questions from the bidders, to Billynda Baker and Kevin for bringing our group out aboard the Pollepel, and to Barbara Gottlock and Thom Johnson for volunteering to guide the group around the island.

It would be a good location for a Medieval or renaissance fair .
