The Bannerman Castle Garden Committee, headed by Donna Blakemore, is hard at work getting the gardens on Bannerman Island planted. The gardens were designed by members of Cornell Cooperative Extension's Master Gardeners of Orange County. The gardening is being done on Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout the summer. Now that the gardens have been planted volunteers will continue to maintain the garden beds. If you are interested in volunteering for this wonderful project please contact Donna at 845 542-1192.
